This Chris Christensen stuff is pretty off the charts. I got this small triangle brush for our cat, and the size and shape of this unit suits her, even on her face. She adores brushing time and treats it like spa day.
I will say that for a basic domestic-shorthair-from-the-shelter cat friend, Chris Christensen gear is arguably overkill. I also have an Equigroomer and a 6" Buttercomb, and those two are what I find myself using the most. With the slickers, you have to come up with a good way to remove shedding from the brush without hurting its fine bristles. I kind of fish the fur out with the Buttercomb, but that's an even more expensive tool than this slicker, so think about how you'll do that if buying this as a standalone.
Great brush - especially for smaller pets.
